Educate 2 Advocate online workshop

Want to learn how to make a change in your community and stand up for a cause or issue important to you?

Educate to Advocate (E2A) is a free, two-hour online workshop that combines all of the knowledge and skills from our Advocacy, Participation and Child Rights training. The workshop is suitable for those aged between 12–24 years.

In this comprehensive and interactive workshop, you will:

  • learn how children and young people can be involved in decision making and why this is important
  • build your knowledge of techniques for expressing your ideas and objectives in daily life, in your local community, at school or work, and political processes
  • learn about tools and techniques for embarking on your own advocacy journey
  • learn about the meaning, history and significance of children and young people’s rights including the United Nations Convention of the Rights of the Child

Where: This workshop takes place on Microsoft Teams and Miro Board

What you need to participate: You will need access to a laptop or computer to fully participate and collaborate with other young people throughout the workshop.
